Modernization of ceramic kiln
Today, the three technology support of ceramic kiln are lightweight refractory&insulation material, high temperature spray and intelligent automatic control.
Lightweight refractory&insulation material is based on the low thermal conductivity of air. Through increasing the air content in the insulation material, the insulation material is characterized with low density, low thermal conductivity and low heat capacity to achieve a high heat resistant property. With the development of ceramic fibers manufacturing technology, especially the appearance of high temperature ceramic fibers, lightweight insulation material is now the main material for ceramic kilns, making a lot contributions to the modernization of ceramic kiln.
The usage of lightweight insulation material change the traditional idea of ceramic kiln structure.
Due to the light and thin of kiln’s wall, the furnace structure is more scientific and modernization. If the furnace insulation effect is good, it will be easy to control the the temperature when firing ceramics, thus, the firing period will be shortened, and the insulation effect will be improved.
CCEWOOL ceramic fiber is now widely used as ceramic kiln refractory lining through being made into folded module or mats. The using effect of ceramic fibers in kilns depending on its heat insulating property. CCEWOOL ceramic fiber blanket- shot content is between 10% and 12%, which is 5% lower than common products. Its thermal shrinkage is low, thus, it maintains an excellent chemical stability. Low heat conductivity and excellent insulation property can reduce the heat storage and release, which make the kiln more efficiency.
