Tunnel furnace wall used refractory material and structure can be divided into traditional type, combined type and full ceramic fiber type.
The traditional type features:
1) rely on increasing the thickness of furnace wall to achieve the thermal insulation goal
2) apply to the site construction
3)sturdy and durable
Used refractory material: heavy refractory material, general clay fire brick, high alumina brick and corundum brick, etc.
Combined type features:
1) Apply to refabricated construction
2) Furnace wall is thin and light weight. Better thermal insulation effect (heat loss and heat storage capacity is low)
Used refractory material: light weight fire brick, refractory castable, etc.
Used thermal insulation material: calcium silicate board, rock wool( mineral wool), expanded perlite, expanded vermiculite, etc.
Full ceramic fiber features ( development direction of tunnel furnace)
1)Furnace wall is low thickness and weight. Better thermal insulation efficient, lower heat loss and heat storage, high refractoriness.
2)Convenient installation, just need to installation, only connected the refractory fiber modules directly to the steel plate using fire resistant bolt.
