What causes the insulation ceramic fiber board turn yellow?
Insulation ceramic fiber board is applicable to the high temperature insulation that requires high rigidity of the insulation material, but sometimes insulation ceramic fiber board may turn yellow, which not only has impact on the aesthetics, but also on its performance. So what causes the insulation ceramic fiber board turn yellow. Below are the details:
1. The yellowing of thermal insulation ceramic fiber board is mainly caused by the cross-linking agent and tackifier in the neutral adhesive, because these two raw materials have "amino group", which is easy to cause yellowing.
2. If the external neutral transparent adhesive is used together with the acid glass adhesive, it may cause the neutral adhesive to turn yellow after curing.
3. It may be caused by the long storage time of the adhesive or the reaction between the adhesive and the substrate.
The yellowing of thermal insulation ceramic fiber board may be caused by the raw materials in the neutral glue, or it may be caused by improper use and storage, but in the final analysis, whatever it is, we need to keep it in good storage and deal with it in time.
