The maintenance of refractory ceramic fiber products
Refractory ceramic fiber will inevitably bump, dirt in the long run,also some similar factors will reduce the service life. During the service life of refractory ceramic fiber blanket, module and board, regular and proper maintenance can greatly extend the service life of refractory fiber products,therefore improve the fire-resistant insulation properties.

1.The selection of materials
The premise to ensure long service life of refractory ceramic fiber products is to select the optimum quality products. CCEWOOL ceramic fiber blanket, module, board and vacuum formed products will be made through special processing, which can provide anti-fouling, dust-proof and wear resistance guarantee.
2. Check and prevention
During the construction and installation process of refractory ceramic fiber blanket, modules and other products, the ground check is an important step in prevention.
1)Before installation, check whether the refractory ceramic fiber products are intact, having storm-water pollution.If have pollution,products must be abandoned.The flooded refractory ceramic fiber products are difficult to dry.Even if dry, will have some effect on the thermal conductivity of refractory ceramic fiber products,even lower the insulation effect. Therefore, refractory ceramic fiber products users, especially large volume users, like tunnel kiln customers, heat treatment furnace customers must do rain& moisture prevention before purchase.
2)During the use of high-temperature refractory and insulating cotton,if has any break must minimize the loss as far as possible.
3. Regular maintenance
After installing the module,in order to increase fiber surface’s anti-erosion ability, make sure longer operation time and less damage on surface, users can brush high-temperature curing agent on the module surface. The curing agent is made by inorganic binder, dispersing agent and additives. After solidification, the surface of the curing agent appears ceramic state crust,which can increase ceramic fiber lining’s erosion resistance and lining stereotypes, extend the service life of ceramic fiber furnace lining. Curing agent will be solidified at room temperature 12 hours, drying (110 ℃) situation will be solidified at 2 hours. Regular kiln maintenance usually once a year. During the maintenance period, we can paint protective coating and high temperature curing agent; Furnace lining maintenance usually once a year. Refractory ceramic fiber board, vacuum formed products which exposed to high temperature surface need select a reasonable high-temperature curing agent, which is painted regularly to make sure surface protection.
